Estia in Troy

I visited this restaurant many times before and I've had really good experiences so I was excited to go again today. However my experience today was nothing like my past experiences. My pita was undercooked, I got just three slices of lamb which was not fresh off the rotisserie warmer and I usually got double the amount of meat. As a result the taste was nothing like a Greek Gyro should be. To top it off the pop machine didn't have CO2 at 11:30a, so the pop tasted flat. Too bad I really enjoyed the food before.

Food was great. Get the original Greek and ask the guy with the crazy hair to make the chef special. It was a great blend of spicy and sweet and crunch because he also threw a couple fries in there. I’ll go back again

Great food, cool atmosphere, and the owner works there to look out for you. Estia Greek Street Food is a solid lunch work spot and makes for a good, quick dinner bite. The staff are friendly and the owner is there to lookout for his associates so they'll look out for you. Try Estia, you wont go wrong. 😄

I wouldn't call it authentic Greek food, but it is fantastic. The taste and both quality of ingredients are phenomenal. I can say that this is a "Chipotle" of Greek food. Highly recommend it, and will definitely try again.

Great Greek food and reasonable prices. You must go there. Pitas made fresh while you watch from scratch. The lamb is so flavorful and tasty and the gyro sauce is great with plenty of onions and tomatoes. One of the best gyros that I have had and also very affordable.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The gyros and salads are both phenomenal. Get the Americano gyro or the Greek salad and you won't be disappointed. They are always making the bread as you order so you know it's fresh. Their Greek dressing might be the best I've found. Definitely recommended

First time here and glad I tried it. You get a ton of food for your money. Plenty of options to create your own bowl. There is outdoor seating available which is nice as well. They have a sauce called YCG sauce that was crazy tasty.

We love this place. Big portions, great food, easy relaxed environment! My kids love eating here. Good value too.

I came in on a weekday early evening and the place was pretty much empty. The ingredients were messy and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. I had to ask if they even had more of one of the main sauces on the line because the tub was empty. The chicken really wasn’t that good and was kind of cold. Staff could be friendlier. I had a good experience here over a year ago, but was disappointed this time and probably wouldn’t go back.

Best gyro I've ever had!

Delicious! Ordered "The Real Greek" Gyro and it did not disappoint. The fries that come on it were hot and crispy and the pita was fresh and delicious. The pork belly had great seasoning. The spinach pie was also something I'd go back for! Forgot to take a pic

My family and I were in the area for a volleyball tournament and we wanted to try a new place. We decided to stop at Estia and glad we did. The food was really good the place was clean and the prices were great for the quality of food. I ordered a gyro, my wife got a salad and my daughter also ordered a gyro with fries. They were all really good and nothing left but crumbs.

This wont be a typical review. But it will be honest. OMG this place seriously makes the best Gyros I have ever had in my life. You need to eat here. Like I am not kidding. Drop what your doing and go. Your Welcome.

I love this place! Food is beyond delicious, the decor is modern and prices are very reasonable. The owner is very personable and accommodating. My family comes here about once a week for the freshly made pita wraps.

This place is like a Greek version of Qdoba, and I had high expectations based on the reviews. The ingredients seem to be high quality, but the brown rice in my bowl was still crunchy. I'm not one to complain in person, so I pretty much just ate the chicken and veggies around the rice with the occasional crunch. A bottle of faygo will run you 3 dollars, and none of the fountain drink flavors work. If you want Greek food, save yourself the trouble and go to a real Greek restaurant.

Pretty nice place to grab something to eat. the employees were nice and helped me out with what i want because i never been there before.

Food was great and taste was on point but just a little on pricey end. Ended up getting the Greek fries and chicken gyro and it was very filling.

The food was excellent I tried their traditional with pork belly and it was really good The others who are with me tried their Americano and both said it was delicious as well I think it's awesome that they make the pitas right in front of you

I have been here a few times and love this place! The pita bread is cooked fresh in front of you. The greek fries are original! And the owner is a really nice guy. I have started going to the DMC downtown location as well as I work there!

Finally, a place that serves real greek gyro. I love the fact that they make the pita fresh right when you order. The fries are crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. Definitely reminds me of Greece!

We stopped here for lunch and ordered The Kota ( chicken gyro ) with Greek fries and lentil soup. The food was average, nothing to write home about.

My girlfriend and I decided to try something new for a change. She came across Estia on Yelp. The food is amazing! I ordered the Real Greek Wrap and the flaming cheese (we weren't charged for the cheese courtesy of the owner). I love how simple the ordering process is too! We had our food in less than 5 minutes and were enjoying bold flavors that really embraces the term "street food". As we were about to leave I was refilling my drink and the owner asked me how it was and showed his appreciation. He was very friendly! We will definitely be recommending this place and be back for more!

Really good Greek Street Food spot. I love the multiple options between the wraps, bowls and salads. The pitas are made fresh right in front of you. I love the spicy feta sauce and the fries are crispy and AWESOME! Very cool atmosphere and vibe. My co-workers and I frequently go there for lunch after team meeting. Highly recommended!!!

We went on a week day early evening. The place was kind of empty. There weren’t many customers in the one hour we were there. The staff was friendly and the place was ok. I took a veggie gyro which is good but my kid and husband took a bowl and they didn’t like it as much. So, I have mixed opinions on this place. I will go once more give it another try and see how that goes.

The original Greek gyros was amazing! Felt like I was back in Greece again! You should get the fries with feta and bougatsa for desert. Service is fast and polite! Also loved the industrial design of Estia! Last but not least George, the owner, is smiling all the time and is more than willing to help you out !

I absolutely love coming here. Being Greek and having been to Greece this is about as good as it gets when it comes to authentic Greek food. It's always delicious and the people behind the counter are always in a good mood and helpful!! That spicy feta is to die for!

So great Delicious true Greek Style Gyro. Go in there and order a Americano style gyro and tell them make it the "George way" thank me later !!!
